BDVDB is a static website. It has no user accounts and no database, and it sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
What we collect
Browsing the site. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and requested pages. [EDIT: name the host and link to its privacy policy.]
Reports. The report form encrypts your report in your browser. Pageclip, our form provider, receives only the encrypted text along with routine technical data about the request. Only BDVDB maintainers can decrypt a report.
Spam protection. If enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical signals from your browser to detect automated submissions.
Stored in your browser
We store your theme choice and your pause setting for moving content in local storage, and the dismissal of the sample-data notice in session storage. Neither is sent to us.
How we use report details
Your contact email is used only to follow up on your report. Your public handle is published only if you provide it and your report is accepted.
